When Chris and Shannon were told in 2010 they were having twins, one of Shannon's first thoughts was "yikes, that's a lot of diapers going into the landfill!" She didn't know anything about cloth diapering at the time, but she set out to learn. She wanted to use a cloth diaper service, but there wasn't one back then. When she told Chris, he said, "Well, there must be a need in Kansas City for a diaper service, so let's start our own." That's how Gentle Choices was born. After Chris and Shannon got a handle on how to do cloth diapering on their twins, and learned from other diaper services how to run a service, they took on customers. They took their first family early in 2011 and the rest is history!
